This policy explains how RYDYL AIR uses information collected through our website and our Meta instant forms. RYDYL AIR is a UK-based brand in development for a mineral roll-on deodorant intended for children aged 6–12. The person responsible for the personal information described here is Nicholas Hughes, operating the RYDYL AIR project. Our adverts and forms are directed at adults.
Who we are and how to contact us
For privacy questions, requests to access or delete your information, or to withdraw from launch emails, email hello@rydyl.co.uk.
The Meta price and bundle test
Our Meta form asks whether you are involved in choosing deodorant for a child aged 6–12, which proposed delivered price you would most seriously consider, whether you want launch emails, and for your email address. Your answers help us understand demand and which options people prefer. No order or payment is taken.
We use price and audience answers to assess demand, including responses from people who do not opt in to emails. We use an email address for RYDYL launch updates only when you select “Yes” to the separate email updates question. Selecting “No” means we will not add you to the launch email list through that form.
Meta hosts the instant form and may process information under its own privacy terms. We can access the responses submitted to our RYDYL forms through Meta’s business tools.
The website launch email list
If you enter your email and submit the separate form on rydyl.co.uk, you join the RYDYL launch email list. A submission here is separate from an answer to the Meta price test.
The website records your email address, page and referral details, campaign parameters where present, submission time, IP address and browser information. We use these details to operate the list, understand campaign performance and protect the website from misuse.
Why we use this information
We rely on consent to send RYDYL launch emails to people who opt in through the Meta form or submit the website launch form. We use the survey answers and basic campaign information to assess demand and improve the project under our legitimate interests. You can object to this use or withdraw email consent by contacting us.
Who receives it
We use Meta to host the instant form, and website and cloud service providers to operate the site and store website submissions. Providers may process information outside the UK; where required, appropriate transfer safeguards apply. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep price-test responses while we assess demand and make launch decisions. We keep launch email details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, subject to any records needed to honour your preference or meet a legal obligation. We review data we no longer need and delete or anonymise it.
Children’s privacy
We do not ask for a child’s name or contact details and do not knowingly collect information directly from children. If a child has submitted information, contact us and we will review and delete it as appropriate.
Cookies and advertising
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for site operation and campaign measurement. Where consent is required for non-essential tracking, we will ask before using it. You can also manage cookies in your browser.
Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent. Email hello@rydyl.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as RYDYL develops. The current version will be posted here with its update date.
